Johanna has collaborated with harpist Jacinta Dennett since they were students in the 1980s.  Over decades, the duo has performed regularly at weddings and corporate events as well as featuring in concert recitals with notable performances including Mozart's concerto for flute and harp with the Ballarat Symphony Orchestra in March 1993 with performances in Ballarat and Stawell. Another performance of the iconic concerto is planned for 2025 in Melbourne. 

The duo was  unofficially known the 'Dennett-Selleck' duo but recently adopted the name of the 'Llÿre Flute and Harp Duo'.  'Llÿre' refers to the Welsh God of the ocean. Llÿre also represents the personification of the sea in Celtic mythology.  The duo's long-term collaboration led to Johanna composing a piece for solo harp, Spindrift, for Jacinta.  Jacinta has performed the piece in Australia and overseas and recorded Spindrift on her recent CD, Fable.  The piece has also been recorded by Elisabeth Remy Johnson in the USA on her CD Quest. Johanna is currently composng a new piece for flute and harp, which is planned for a premiere performance in 2025.
